The following are responsibilities related to the Account Support – Administrative: Responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned product line and services in a designated geographical region. In addition, responsible for providing technical guidance in support of the Account Management and Global Account teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in sales program in assigned territory applying technical/scientific skills to develop existing accounts and compete for customers. Assist Account Management with presenting global capabilities, qualifying leads, demonstrating added value and closing new business opportunities by providing scientific support during sponsor teleconference calls, field visits and at scientific trade shows. Provide technical leadership and direction to support customers and the Account Management and Global Accounts team. Provide training and technical support in assigned territory; analyze customer data and validation plans. Recommend or perform remedial actions to troubleshoot customer issues related to instrumentation, application, reagents and software.
