Aftermarket Sales Engineer – Marine & Power Products | FAMCO | Dubai – Al Futtaim Group

About the Position:

We currently looking to recruit an experienced Aftermarket Sales Engineer for our FAMCO Marine and Power Product Division in Dubai. Reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will manage the sales of parts, service and service contracts to new and existing end users / customers who have purchased power & marine products and to provide technical and non-technical in-field support to the end users / customers.

Specifically, your key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Managing the sales of parts, service and annual service / maintenance contracts for gen sets & marine engines within UAE.
  • Develop & install parts and service marketing activities, “go to” market strategies and customer support package for each new installation. This includes recommended parts stocking, annual service contracts, menu priced repairs and re-man programmes.
  • Provide data and feedback to the FAMCO parts product and inventory management team on parts competitors, general and specific market prices, parts availability and parts requirements (old and new) to assist in fine tuning inventory stocking profile.
  • Manage and advise on the provision of credit facilities for new and existing customers and monitor the collection of receivables for parts and service within UAE.
  • Carry out prospecting and conversion activity for existing customers & not using FAMCO parts & service.
  • Provide up to-date competitive data from the field on existing and competitor installations through customer mapping in order to develop and enhance the FAMCO database.
  • To provide accurate monthly and quarterly forecast of parts and labour sales.
