Job Overview: Professional required to operate, manage & troubleshoot AMI network of 5 million IOT smart meters. Advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) is an integrated system of smart meters, communications networks, and data management systems that enables two-way communication between utilities and customers, smart meter Network Operation Control (NOC) team require a professional to manage complex computer & IOT devices. Able to deal with Telecom Operator (Mobily). Provide troubleshooting guidelines for the team, in order to lead the operation smoothly. SMP project is unique in terms of size, investment and technology.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Meter connection trouble shooting from SM to HES.
Evaluate NB-IoT performance, signal, Quality and strength. And coordinate with Mobily in term of SIM activations
Understand the operation side of HES infra (Switching, networking…)
Good Knowledge about DB is a plus. Initial understanding regarding DB Backup.
Able to read Wireshark logs. Evaluate the situation & responsible to act accordingly.
Able to work on HES platform (Complex network) and understand SEC logs.
Beginner SQL Knowledge.
Able to troubleshoot secure network and manage firewall IN/OUT traffic.
Initial understanding to manage IOT devices in HES network.
Able to communicate with ISP, WFMS & isolate the problem accordingly.
Maintaining CPU utilization of HES VMs, able to work BMC (NMS solution). And based on critical logs act accordingly.
Able to understand information received from another packages SAP, MDMS etc. And do the needful.
Able to work on Microsoft Active directory in term of changing the roles, groups & security specifications.
