Mali – We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engine Transmission Rebuild Mechanic to join a mine in Mali. The Company: Our client is a well-known International Gold producer, the company's current focus is on the development of their gold mine. The Role: We are seeking an Engine Transmission Rebuild Mechanic who will report into the Maintenance Supervisor and be responsible for Repair or reconditioning of Caterpillar components to include: Engine, transmissions, hydraulic pumps and valves, following established procedures and guidelines of HME field equipment & Plant. Requirements: University degree in Mechanical Engineering +5 years of experience in similar role Experience in Disassemble and assemble machine components and Recondition or repair as required (Caterpillar / Sandvik) Select proper tooling for any standard job and demonstrate proficiency with Cat diagnostic tools. Perform inspections and organize appropriate repair rebuilds using established procedures. Assist other technicians in repair tasks.
