Financial Manager – Revenue Cycle

Teraco Data Environments – Johannesburg, Gauteng – East Rand, Gauteng – Description The Financial Manager will: Establish billing procedures and systems; Oversee monthly billing of clients; Manage the collections process to minimise losses; Resolve client queries; Manage the billing department team; Perform monthly financial reviews of actual billing against signed contracts; Drive client-focused behaviour in the team; Reporting on revenue and debtors accounts to management Main Function of the Role Establish billing procedures and systems: Oversee and improve operational systems and processes. This will include liaising with the IT and Software Development teams and sponsoring / managing projects to bring about system enhancements. Oversee monthly billing of clients: Ensure billing of clients takes place in line with client MSAs and timelines. Notify clients of any increases or changes to their contracts and oversee the monthly bill runs to ensure that clients are invoiced accurately and timeously each month. Manage the collections process to minimise losses: Oversee the daily collections process to ensure that clients pay within their contractual payment terms. When necessary enforce the client suspension process with the goal of minimising losses to the business. Resolve client queries: Understand client queries in order to resolve in a timeous manner. Identify trends and introduce improvements in order to improve client experience and reduce queries and credit notes. Manage the billing department team: Responsible for the management of the billing team, their growth and performance Perform monthly financial reviews of actual billing against signed contracts: Reconcile and analyse data between various systems (Contracts, Billing, Accounting systems) to ensure integrity of data and integrity of billing. Identify and mitigate risk, particularly gaps on the billing cycle and errors in the invoicing of clients Drive client-focused behaviour in the team: Meet both client SLAs and departmental OLAs … – Permanent – Full-time
