Dublin – Our client is a leading contractor in Ireland & London, they are looking to hire a Health & Safety Adviser for projects in Dublin. Responsibilities: Advise, guide and coach all personnel on the project with the implementation of the Health & Safety Management System Responsible to the Project Manager / Director for maintaining the Health & Safety competence matrix Support the Project Manager / Director in the production, review and implementation of the Construction Phase Plan / Project Execution Plan Communicate effectively (Accurate, Relevant and Timely) with their line manager, particularly with the escalation of accidents and incidents Support the Project Manager / Director in the accident / incident investigations procedure and timely communication of the findings Assist the project / Operating Unit (OU) with the accurate, relevant and timely reporting and recording of incidents Monitoring of the project, trade contractors, designers, suppliers and assisting the Procurement Team Liaison with trade contractors, designers, suppliers, client, enforcement agencies and other relevant parties Assist with the development, regular review and update of the HSMS Support the business in building winning teams through promoting campaigns, attending and contributing to meetings etc Essential Previous experience in relevant field of Construction / Facilities Health & Safety NEBOSH General Certificate Affiliate / Associate grade membership of IOSH (for trainees) Technician grade membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH) or above Desirable NEBOSH Construction Certificate (Construction activities) NEBOSH diploma Degree in Occupational Health & Safety NVQ level 3 or above in Occupational Health & Safety… – Permanent – Full-time
