Strong working knowledge of Malaysian Employment Law and best practices. Good interpersonal skills and able to establish rapport with all levels of employees. Excellent in both spoken and written English & Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively. Works in collaboration and believes in teamwork. Experience in implementing and managing company payroll system. – Ability to handle diverse responsibilities Responsibilities Ensure company human resource legal compliance by monitoring and implementing legitimate HR requirements according to Employment Act 1955 Handle and advise the management on disciplinary issues, staff counselling, grievance handling and other employee relations matter in compliance with Malaysian Labor Law Support the company culture by developing and driving suitable HR strategies, processes and practices. Establish recruiting, interview program and counseling managers on candidate selection. Analyses training needs to design employee development program as part of talent management initiative. Implement and manage payroll software, ensure that each pay is accurate, timely and compliant. Prepare and maintain accurate records, files and reports, including responsibility for maintaining employee's documents. Review and enhance company's benefits offering, ensuring our offer is aligned with people's need and competitive in the market. Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures. Conduct regular discussion related to workforce planning, and organization design changes and provide recommendation to management. Perform other ad-hoc tasks when required.
