Under the responsibility of the Head of Mission, the internal auditor is responsible for the development and implementation of mission audit plans. He ensures the control of the correct application of the mission management system (procedures, processes, accounting standards, internal controls, donor procedures, HR procedures, etc.), identifies deviations and proposes corrective actions. He is responsible for the prevention and management of risks linked to abuse. By joining a rapidly growing mission whose workforce has doubled in 3 years, your main missions will be: Development and execution of an audit plan Ensure the follow-up and compliance with the recommendations of the external auditors and the statutory auditors. Participate in discussions aimed at improving audit practices and the effectiveness of internal control. Control the operational standards so that they are applied in a homogeneous way across the projects of the mission. Development of risk prevention policies Perform a benchmark of prevention policies against corruption, embezzlement, nepotism, patronage among other NGOs. Develop a plan for monitoring the application of policies in the mission. Coordinate the intervention of auditors and / or auditors on the mission. Internal Project Audit Develop a project audit schedule and only share it with Mali and Senegal heads of mission. Create an audit protocol according to two methods: compliance with donor procedures and compliance with RIS procedures. Perform project audits: write a detailed report with recommendations and organize feedback.
