Project Description:

NEOM Project Summary: Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company will provide executive project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial and construction management) for the development of certain defined aspects of the NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.”

NEOM will be the home and workplace to more than a million residents from around the world. It will include towns and cities, ports and enterprise zones, research centers, sports and entertainment venues, and tourist destinations. As a hub for innovation, entrepreneurs, business leaders and companies will come to research, incubate and commercialize new technologies and enterprises in groundbreaking ways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reports and supports NEOM’s Sr Sector Planner in delivering the overall program planning requirement
  • Interfaces with designated sector heads for planning, scheduling, maintaining and reporting tasks.
  • Perform were required the collection, verification, and integration of implementation plans for various NEOM sectors into the total program plan.
  • Plan the effort to establish milestones and KPIs for the sector. Review sector work activities to ensure the support of program milestones and KPIs. Coordinates the timely, systematic, and complete acquisition of scope definition and related data.
  • Review the performing sector and determine whether the schedules adequately support the overall program goals.
  • Obtain required schedule information from sectors. identify schedule restraints and their effects on the sector schedule.
  • Compiles, summarizes and updates. Monitors and reports critical-path and schedule performance of the sector.
  • Coordinates information input into specific sector.
  • Prepares and presents the Schedule Impact Report. Leads the development and review of implementation schedule recovery plans.
  • Maintain sector plans periodically as needed and generate progress reports and provide advanced analysis.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct, perform, review, and present schedule products independently with minimal supervision. This includes using a high level of professional judgment and knowledge related to technical planning and scheduling skills and engineering design, construction, and procurement practices.
  • Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, control, and variance analysis.
  • Skilled in oral and written communication.
  • Skilled in developing sophisticated progress reports.
  • Knowledge of project management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.
  • Advanced level of knowledge in MS Office, Power-BI, Primavera P6 and MS project.
  • BSc in Engineering with 7+ years of experience in mega projects delivery
