Project Buyer – Air Products

POSITION SUMMARY
Successful candidiate is expected to carry out procurement of assigned packages on the large EPC projects.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that all procurement activities are carried out in accordance with Air Products Policies & Procedures.
Key responsibilities:
Perform procurement of equipment packages assigned by the PPM in accordance with company's policies, procedures and code of conducts, to ensure the following:
RFQ Process is fair, open and ethicalReview material requisition (technical package) to ensure the quality of the package before releasing RFQ to vendors.Ensure applicable T&Cs are communicated to vendors along with RFQ package.Float enquires through company portal & receive bidsAct as SPOC to clarify all TQs between Engineering/Specifier & Vendors during RFQ stage.Attend technical meetings with stakeholder to access & understand the technical evaluation criteria.Negotiate commercial T&Cs with short-list vendorsPerform overall commercial negotiation with vendorsEnsure time placement of all orders on the project as per project's schedule.Regularly analyse categories of spend to determine potential opportunities regarding cost optiminzation.Coordination with internal stakeholders throughout the procurement life cycle.Ensure regular status update of all ongoing activites as well as overall procurement reporting through company's tool, to Project Procurement Manager.

Must have Strong SAP & MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint)Strong sourcing & negotiation skillsStrong knowledge of local vendor's baseGood time management and organizational skillsMust be Fluent in English
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical)Supply Chain Certification (advantage)
Minimum Experience Requirements
Must have worked on large Oil & Gas EPC ProjectMust have experience to procure high-value equipment & bulk material for the Oil & Gas projects
