Good experience working on Selenium RC, Selenium IDE, Selenium Grid, etc. Must have designed and created data driven framework using Selenium and Java as scripting language. Should be able to make recommendations and build automation frameworks with minimum dependency and high reusability. Prepare Reusable functions, which improve the robustness, re-usability, and maintainability of their test scripts. Automation should add value in boosting team's productivity. Integration with the test management tool. Must be able to take on leadership responsibilities and influence the direction of the automation effort, its schedule and prioritization. Ability to analyse, review product specifications and requirements with Project Manager / BA/ QA to establish testing requirements for product features/releases. Should be able to define, develop and implement detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases, test scripts (manual & automated) and test data. Thorough knowledge of Defect Management – Reporting defects, tracking them for resolution and monitoring the defect backlog for product(s) owner. Reporting test results, testing metrics and project status reports on regular basis to Project Manager. Update release and metrics dashboards regularly. Ensure on-time delivery of assigned deliverables with quality, collaborating with team members. EDUCATION B.E. (CS/ IT or related discipline) or MCA DESIRED TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE Extensive experience in STLC and Defect Management Expert in Automation framework using selenium RC.
