Description:
This position will support the development of our client's product.
- Perform enhancements and modifications on the product
- Work within Product owners to understand the requirements for new features.
- Work with Quality Assurance (QA) members to communicate testing impacts and fix the defects reported
- Work on client reported defects, help triaging and finding out root cause and fix the defects with high quality
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or related engineering field or equivalent experience.
Experience Required for the position:
- Strong Agile software development experience is a requirement
- 7+ years in web development
- Strong e xperience with Web 2.0 development using frameworks like dojo, React, jQuery, etc,
- Web 2.0 Architecture
- HTML5, CSS3 and SASS/LESS
- Strong JavaScript coding skills
- Experience working with remote teams in international locations
- In-depth knowledge of testing Web-based applications.
- Experience with software defect tracking systems
- Ability to work under deadlines with heavy workloads as well as flexibility to work outside of normal business hours to meet testing needs.
- Must be able to work independently and with minimum supervision. Strong sense of responsibilities and quality focus, fast learner and excellent interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable in proactively communicating with others both within and outside of the immediate team to resolve issues and get questions answered.
- Ability to multi-task, triage issues, react well to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently to resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
- Development of restful services using Jersey JAX-RS implementation
- Agile Software Development Methodology
Top Skills Required:
- 8+ years of experience of development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS3, and Object-Oriented Design.
- 2-3 years of experience with ReactJS and Redux. The client wants this person to have knowledge of Redux because the platform of the ADP Workforce Now sits on ReactJS and Redux. (This is specifically coming from the Internal Advocate).
- 5+ years of experience creating RestAPIs utilizing JavaScript or Java
- 3-4 years of experience working in a senior capacity. This lead will be the "go to" person to handle any technical questions/escalations. Strong understanding of design and development is required.
