In 2019, our production volume was ca 32 mill vials and supported turnover across the supply chain of ~USD 550M. The plant has ~600 employees. As part of our ongoing journey to achieve our 2022 site vision of being a 50m vials capacity site, this new role will drive the necessary cultural and operational transformations and simplifications to make this happen. Essential Responsibilities Management of the technical operations team Responsible for technical direction, leadership, guidance and support for all areas within the manufacturing area – formulation, filtration, filling, capping, autoclaves, inspection and packaging Develop and maintain the Opex and level 1 Capex project management system and track project, monthly reporting and forecasting Stakeholder management & partnership with Production and Packaging platforms in order to align on goals and priorities Develop systems for new product introduction and develop the capabilities of this team. Qualifications/Requirements Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or associated discipline Major experience in engineering in biotech/pharmaceutical industry supporting manufacturing (quality, process development, manufacturing, clinical manufacturing) Operational management experience in a pharmaceutical environment Strong team management skills with demonstrated ability to set clear direction, develop staff and manage performance Project management experience Experience in new product introductions.
